International Flights
Beijing and Shanghai are the major ports of entry by air. It is also very convenient to fly to China via Hong Kong. All China major cities are served by direct flights from Hong Kong by Air China, the official China airline, or Dragonair, the Hong Kong carrier.
Canton, Kunming, Xiamen, Dalian, Urumqi, and Tianjin all have direct flights from other countries.

Fly in China
The Chinese regional airlines service all the major and minor cities in China. With the economy booming, many main routes are very busy and require advance reservation.
Only one piece of carryon luggage is allowed.
Check-in luggage allowance: 20kg (44 lb) for economy class; 30kg (66 lb) for first class passenger
All flights are non-smoking.
Many airports impose airport tax.
Have your passport, visa, and boarding pass ready for inspection prior to boarding.
